High schoolers present 'Ransom'

Tickets are on sale now for the 2018 Lincoln High School all-school play, “The Ransom of Miss Elverna Dower.”

Written by Laurie Bryant and based on O. Henry’s “Ransom of Red Chief,” the play tells the story of two students who kidnap their teacher to avoid taking a test only to discover that no wants her back. Quirky supporting characters fill out the story.

Public performances of “The Ransom of Miss Elverna Dower” will be Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 10, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m.
