Winter Fest dance party announced
New at this year’s Winter Fest will be a dance featuring live music from a Buddy Holly tribute band.
“Buddy Holly” (Jimmy Stanley) and the Red Wing Crickets will perform at a Winter Fest Dance Party Saturday, Feb. 2, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Lake City Sportsman’s Club.
A resident of England, Stanley will travel to the U.S. for the show, according to his brother, Lake City resident Ben Manning, who will be the rhythm guitarist in Stanley’s backing band that evening.
