Mayo donates to storm response organizations

On Sept. 20, a line of storms, including tornadoes, hit several communities in Southeast Minnesota.

An organized response was led by the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army to help citizens who needed food, shelter and other health-based support for people impacted by the storm.

To help these organizations defray expenses incurred by the multiple county response, Mayo Clinic Health System is donating a total of $8,000 to these organizations before the end of the year.
