Pallet rebuilder keeps growing

What started out as a weekend job to help someone out has grown into a local business that employs 60 people after doubling its capacity in the last two years.
J and B Pallets is being honored this week as Lake City’s Manufacturer of the Year.
The company, and other large employers, will be feted at a Chamber of Commerce lunch Friday followed by a private tour of the pallet factory.
The plant will be open for public tours at 2 p.m. Friday.
