Girls basketball dominates Byron
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team (14-4) hosted the Byron Bears (4-12) on Thursday, Jan. 31 and came away with a 75-51 win.
The Tigers wasted no time from the tip off and with a couple of quick passes from Mya Shones to Grace Bany the Tigers were on the board.
Byron came back and took a three-point lead. A steal from Shones and throw to Natalie Bremer who took it in for a score brought the Tigers back to within one (8-7).
A steal from Bany, followed up by a score tied up the game at 11.
