Tigers get blowout win over cotter
The Lake City Tigers boys baseball team asserted their will over Winona Cotter on their way to an easy 11-1 victory on May 6.
The Tigers fired up the offense in the first inning with five runs. Josh Matanich doubled.
Zach Scharpen pitched Lake City to the win. He allowed no hits and no runs over three innings, striking out six. Matanich threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Cale Beckman took the loss for Cotter. He went two innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and walking one.
