Tennis girls continue winning streak
The Lake City High School girls Tiger tennis team hosted a non-conference match against Hastings Aug. 22 and edged the Raiders 4-3.
Ava Wallerich made quick work of her first set at No. 1 singles with a 6-0 win. She then took the second set 6-4.
Emma Brunkow stepped into the No. 2 singles spot and was defeated in two sets 3-6, 0-6.
At No. 3 singles, Sarah Ziebarth took the point 6-3, 6-3.
Madeline Medvec was defeated in a heated two set battle at No. 4 singles, 5-7, 5-7.
