New Red Wing Bridge is now open to traffic

Vehicles began traveling on the new Highway 63 Eisenhower Bridge of Valor in Red Wing on Nov. 21, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).
Construction work continues on the new bridge and is scheduled to continue into 2020 to finish elements of the project. Demolition of the old bridge is scheduled to begin on Nov. 25 and will continue through the winter as crews dismantle it.
