Barbara Fick obituary

Barbara Fick passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at home with family at her side. Barbara was an only child born to William and Alice DeFrang on May 10, 1929 in Lake City, Minn. Barb married Elmer Fick in 1948, they had three daughters, Katherine (Gary), Beverly, and Bonnie (John).
Barb was known for her gardening, crafting, volunteer work and traveling. One of her best friends said, “No matter when you show up at Barb’s house, she could manufacture a meal.” The family will miss her open-door policy, apple pie, texting, and descriptive phrases.
Barb is preceded in death by her busband Elmer; her parents; in-laws, Clarence and Mable Fick; brother-in-law, Willard.
Barb is survived by her daughters and extended family; Pat Fick, Marvin and Ruth Fick, Richard and Lori Fick, Dave and Dolores Kline; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Stephanie, Carrie, Justin, Sarah, Lana, Audrey, Greta, Ariel, Joshua; great grandchildren, Maya, Anthony, Kristopher, Keegan, Brynn, Nickolas, Eva and Zack.
