Bob Albrecht Obituary
Bob A. Albrecht, 82, of Lake City, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester.
He was born Sept. 30, 1934 to Harry and Mary (Beckman) Albrecht in Coleridge, Neb. Bob grew up in the Lake City area, living in both Lake City and Red Wing. He worked at the S.B. Foot Tannery for 27 years. After retiring Bob lived in Lake City. He enjoyed playing cards, watching football, and feeding his birds. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo (Daniel) Bushinger and Gena Halverson, both of Red Wing; two sons, Bobby Albrecht Jr. of Indiana and Billy Albrecht of Preston, Minn.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane (Jerry) Krusmark and Elaine (Bob) Marnell, both of Lake City; and a brother, Casey (Shirley) Albrecht of Preston, Minn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Albrecht; one son, John Raley; a sister, Karen Demarais; a brother, Gil Albrecht; and his parents.
Memorial service will be Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City with Rev. Tim Ehling officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
