Bryan Juers obituary

    Bryan L. Juers, 72, of Lake City passed away Saturday January 8, 2022.        Bryan was born March 3, 1949 in Red Wing to Norman and Marjorie (Thomforde) Juers. He grew up in Mount Pleasant Township and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967. Bryan married Charlene Laqua on March 27, 1971 at St. Peter’s Belvidere Lutheran Church. He farmed the family farm with his brother David and his sons. He had a great love for farming and always did the combining during harvest time in the fall. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards with friends and neighbors.         
    Bryan is survived by his wife Charlene; two sons, Nathan (Tracy), Jason (Jamie) of Lake City; two daughters, Jennifer Juers of Rochester, Alyson (David) Strothman of Excelsior, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Brandon Juers, Mason Juers, Ella Juers, Lauren Strothman, Alexandra Strothman, Stella Strothman, Madeline Strothman, Eli Hall; sister Jaunita Dyson of San Louis Obispo, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David Juers and a sister Joyce Schmidt.
    A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Belvidere Lutheran Church with Reverend Steve Frentz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City.
