David Richardson obituary

David W. Richardson, 84, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at his home in Brimson, Minnesota. He was born December 15, 1941 in Lake City, Minnesota to Henry and Faye (Lafferty) Richardson.
David loved being at home in his cabin. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also visits from family and friends. His wish of retiring and living his best life up north was granted.
David is survived by his daughter Dawn Richardson Wilson of Lake City; grandchildren Alicia (Jake) Grant of Wanamingo, Minnesota, and Nicole Gilsdorf of Red Wing; four great grandchildren; and two great great grandsons. He is also survived by his significant other, Joyce Scholer, and very special friends Tim and Annette Swegle and Tim and Michelle Swift.
David was preceded in death by his son, Keith.
A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
