Gloria Issendorf obituary

Gloria Issendorf, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Elysian in Lake City.
Gloria was born on January 5, 1945 in Lake City to Alvin and Gladys (VonHelmst) Duden. On October 16, 1965 she married Dennis Issendorf.  They farmed with Dennis’s parents until they retired and moved to Lake City. Dennis and Gloria took over the farm until they retired in 2006.  Gloria enjoyed the local deer herd that would often visit her home. She was a strong and independent woman, so much so that she was reluctant to give up her chainsaw later in life. Gloria loved flowers, dogs, and especially time with her family.
She is survived by her son Brad (Jenny); three grandchildren, Brandon, Emily and Delaney; one great granddaughter, Aubrey Issendorf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her parents; one son, Mike; one daughter, Diann Kay; one grandson, Owen Bradley Issendorf.
Services for Gloria will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at First Lutheran Church in Lake City with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel.
