Pearl Benney obituary

Pearl Florence Benney died Dec. 18, 2020 in Lake City, Minn. at the age of 98. She was born on Jan. 9, 1922 in Ashland, Wisc. to Emil and Lily Kosta. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age.
She was happily married for 63 years to W. George Benney. They lived most of their lives in Duluth, Minn. where they raised their five children. They were active members of Duluth Gospel Tabernacle where Pearl taught Sunday School for several years.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband George Benney; her parents Emil and Lily Kosta; her brothers Stanley and Floyd; grandchildren Anna, Melanie, and Amy.
She is survived by her children, Flo (Don) Haapanen, Darlene (Paavo) Pyykkonen, Alan Benney, Annette Benney, Anita (Greg) Palm; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
