Rosemary Bernard obit
Rosemary Bernard, 82, of Red Wing, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, surrounded by her family, at her daughter’s home in Prescott, Wisc. She was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Lake City, to Richard and Clara (Schmidt) Shea and graduated from Lake City High School, class of 1956. She married Gerald Bernard and they made their home in Red Wing and later divorced. She worked at the St. John’s Hospital as a ward secretary until 1981. She then began her 30-plus year career with Goodhue County, working in the administration and computer departments. Rosemary loved the Red Wing Senior Center, especially their fitness classes.
