Simmone Bremer Obituary
Simmone Ann Bremer, 79, of Red Wing, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 at her home.
She was born March 11, 1937, in Lake City, to Jack and Harriet (Holst) Hern. She attended school at St. John’s Lutheran and Lake City High School. Following high school, she worked for her father at Jack’s Café in Lake City. On June 25, 1954, she was united in marriage to Raymond Bremer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lake City. Together they made their home in Red Wing. Simmone was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red Wing; had volunteered at Wise Penny and helped co-ordinate funeral lunches.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; three daughters, Debra Tebbe of Des Moines, Iowa, Cheryl Schultz of Red Wing and Lisa Wentz of Winona; one son, Todd (Diane) Bremer of Maiden Rock, Wis.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Sherrin (Erland) Banks, Lake City and Gary Hern, Plainview. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 14 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing, with Rev. Todd Engel officiating.
