Terri Walker obituary

Terri Lynn Walker, 62, of Rochester, passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester. She was born August 20, 1958 in Rochester to David and Frances (Mackey) Walker. Terri attended school in Lake City graduating from Lincoln High School in 1976. She then attended the Rochester Vocational Technical School.
Terri began her career as a Health Unit Coordinator at Rochester Methodist Hospital and then moved to St. Marys Cardiac ICU, until she retired in September of 2018. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family, she especially enjoyed the family gatherings and celebrations. Terri enjoyed spending time on Lake Pepin, reading, and collecting quilts. She loved her cat, and was a large supporter of Paws & Claws in Rochester.
Terri is survived by her sisters, Connie Walker, Lisa Hyke, and Kelly Walker all of Rochester; her brothers, Lance (Barbara) Walker of Prior Lake, and Brent (Heidi) Walker of Lake City; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jeffrey.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lake City.
