Vincent Feehan obituary

    Vincent Bernard Feehan, 95, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at The Bluff’s in Lake City, just a few hours before his birthday. He was born to Patrick and Ida (Schuchard) Feehan on March 12, 1925 in Oakwood Township, Wabasha County, Minn. He grew up on the farm with his brother, Donald, who also lived to the age of 95. Vincent attended Wabasha County School. On April 11, 1944 he married Mary Virginia Funk at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in West Albany, they were married for 74 years before Mary Virginia’s passing on May 24, 2018.
    The Feehans farmed in rural Lake City. Vincent enjoyed going fishing, playing cards, and chewing snuff. In his later years Vincent enjoyed going to casinos. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City.
    Vincent is survived by his children, Patricia Ann Nelson of Minnesota City, Marilyn (Jerry) Pfeilsticker of Lake City, and Kenneth Vincent (Bonnie Barbara) Feehan of LaCrosse; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Donald.
    A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City with Father Matthew Fasnacht officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow the service in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lake City.  Masks are required and please practice social distancing.
