Halverson: Social tech has replaced socializing
Conversation, a lost art. Replaced by cell phones, texting and Tweets.
It’s rare to see people having dinner actually talking. Instead they are constantly looking at their cell phones. Gone are the lively dinner conversations where families actually stayed in touch.
Some of my fondest memories are the family gathered around the dinner table. We sat at the table for every meal except sometimes breakfast when jobs or school started at different times.
