Law enforcement and community service is a large part of who I am. I grew up within a law enforcement family; my grandfather, Harold, was a part time police officer in Arlington, MN. My father, Bennitt (Benny) was a police officer for several years; including the Plainview Police department as a K9 officer with King and Barrie. My mother, Charlene, was a dispatcher, jailer and jail administrator in Sibley County prior to retiring from Wabasha County as the jail administrator in 2017.
