To the editor:
“We’re getting nothing done my friends, we’re getting nothing done.”
Those words uttered by the late John McCain resonated with me as I observe the issues before our current City Council .
l have been a citizen of Lake City, or the surrounding area for 50-plus years.
As I read accounts of the city council, the same words uttered by the late Senator McCain could also apply to past city councils and to certain members of the current one.
