City of Lake City Board of Adjustment - Bock Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Lake City Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 to consider a request submitted on behalf of Adam Bock, owner of 1300 Central Point Road, Lake City, MN, for property located in Goodhue County, Minnesota, legally described as follows: PARCEL E OF LOT 18, IN THE BJ LOSS SUBDIVISION OF CENTRAL POINT, LAKE CITY, GOODHUE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.  
The applicant is requesting two variances to allow for the reconstruction of a non-conforming deck attached to the single-family residential structure, located within the Medium Density Residential District of Lake City.  The first request is to vary from the 8-foot set yard setback requirements to place the deck 6 feet from the side property lines.  The second request is to vary from the 50-foot setback requirement from the ordinary high-water level (OHWL) of Lake Pepin placing the structure approximately 25 feet from the OHWL.  
All persons desiring to address the Commission regarding this agenda item are welcome to address the Board during the public hearing.
