City of Lake City Planning Commission - Jewel Outlot K Re-zone

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
    Notice is hereby given that the Lake City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, MN, to re-zone the following property: a portion of OUTLOT K OF JEWEL PLANNING PLAT 2, LAKE CITY, WABASHA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AND OF RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF THE WABASHA COUNTY RECORDER.
The area is commonly described as land along North 10th Street, Lake City, which is also part of the City owned Cemstone property.  
Outlot K is currently zoned RD - Rural Development Transitional.  The City is considering changing the zoning from RD, to OSP – Open Space and Parks, MDR – Medium Density Residential.  
Persons desiring to address the Commission regarding this agenda item are welcome to address the Commission during the public hearing.
