City of Lake City Planning Commission - Nibbe Conditional Use

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Lake City Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, Minnesota. The Commission will consider a conditional use permit request submitted by Derek Nibbe, 1017 W. Lakewood Avenue, for land legally described as: SECT-08 TWP-111 RANGE-012 1.12 ACRES AND PART OF THE NE 1⁄4 OF LOT 1  SECTION 9, AND LOT 13 SECTION 8,  PARCEL B, ALL LOCATED IN LAKE CITY, WABASHA COUNTY, MINNESOTA.  
The applicant is proposing to construct a 42 foot by 54 foot residential garage in the rear of his property, which exceeds the city’s 1,000 square footage area limit in residential zoning districts.
