City of Lake City - Public Hearing - Certification of Unpaid Charges

 

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Lake City will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 12, 2022 at or after 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, MN to consider a proposed resolution approving the certification of unpaid charges to either the Wabasha County or Goodhue County auditors for collection with taxes against the property with respect to City water service, sewer service, storm water service, electric service, garbage and recycling service, ambulance charges, fire charges, and nuisance charges for which have become delinquent.  The charges are being certified pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 10, 50, 51, and 52 of the City Code and are authorized for certification for collection with taxes against the property as permitted by Minnesota Statutes §§ 444.075 subd.3e, 443.015, 415.01, 366.01, 366.011 and 366.012.  The City Council will hear any written and oral objections to the certification of these charges at this public hearing.

A list of the unpaid charges and the properties to which they are to be certified is open to public inspection and on file with the City Clerk at City Hall.
