LAKE CITY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 648
BY TITLE AND SUMMARY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake City has adopted Ordinance No. 648, titled “An Ordinance Authorizing the Conveyance of Real Property Owned by the City,” and
WHEREAS, the City Charter allows publication of ordinances by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance is two pages in length; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City of Lake City City Council, that the following summary is hereby approved for publication:

SUMMARY PUBLICATION
ORDINANCE NO. 648
The City of Lake City City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 648, titled “An Ordinance Authorizing the Conveyance of Real Property Owned by the City.” The Ordinance authorizes the sale of property described as 1251 Mounds Court, legally described as: Lot 1, Block 4, Eaglewood Estates Fifth Addition, to be conveyed to Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity. The Ordinance is effective upon publication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake City:
1. The City Clerk is directed to publish this summary in lieu of publication of the entire ordinance.
2. The City Clerk is directed to post a copy of the entire text of Ordinance No. 648 at City Hall, the City of Lake City Public Library, and on the City of Lake City web site for a period of not less than 10 days. In addition, a printed copy of Ordinance No. 648 is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Lake City City Hall.
