REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on August 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St. Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 6 board members and 16 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. Rotary Club Thank You letter was read.
4. Principal Berge gave the High School & Score Card reports.  
5. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
6. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
7. Supt. Wright gave her report & enrollment update.
8. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
9. Lincoln High School 7th & 9th grade Student Orientation - August 20, 2025.
10. All Staff Workshop Days August 25-27, 2025.
11. Meet the Teacher - Bluff View Elementary - September 2 & 3, 2025.
12. First Day of School grades 7-12 - September 2, 2025; grades K-6 - September 4, 2025.
13. September 15, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
14. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
15. Approved Policies: 702 and 721 (mcu).
16. Approved the Honorary Naming of the Track as “Howie Cook Track & Field”.
17. Approved the single Reading of policies: 414, 418, 501, 514, 515, 516, 534, 707, 709, and 802 (mcu).
18. Approved the Review of ISD 813 Annual School Board Policies: 305, 410, 506, 524, 722 (mcu).
19. Approved the Student Handbooks for 2025-2026 (mcu).
20. Approved the Group Dental Insurance Renewal (mcu).
21. Approved the Superintendent Goals and Evaluation 2025-2026 (mcu).
22. Approved the Lake City School District 813 Restrictive Procedures Plan (mcu).  
23. Approved the resolution to commit a fund balance of $205,000 for the repayment of the scoreboards (mcu).
24.  Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
25. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:48 p.m. (mcu).
