REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on December 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 6 board members and 11 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Truth In Taxation Hearing was held and presentation by Alison Olson. No pubic comment.
3. Multiple Thank You notes were read by Chairperson Larson.
4. Each board member gave a board member minute.
5. Presentation by Sue Peterson of ISG and Jason Peterson of Knutson Construction regarding Facilities Assessment and Project.
6. Principal Berge gave the High School report in written form.  
7. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Elementary report.
8. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
9. Supt. Wright gave her report.
10. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
11. No school on December 22th - January 2nd for Winter Break.
12. January 2, 2026 - Staff Development.
13. Organizational School Board Meeting January 5th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
14. Minnesota School Board Associations (MSBA) Annual Leadership Conference  January 15-16, 2026.
15. No School on January 23, 2026 - Staff Development.
16. Tentative regular School Board Meeting January 26, 2026.
17. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
18. Approved the Final Paraprofessional Seniority List (mcu).
19. Approved the following policies: 306, 606, 712, and 722 (mcu).
20. Approved the resolution to certify final levy for 2025 payable in 2026 in the amount of $5,564,542.95 (mcu).
21. Approved the contract with ISG for Facilities Assessment, Project Design and Construction Management (mcu).
22. Approved the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 School Calendars (mcu).
23. First reading of policies: 203, 208, and 520.
24. Approved the resolution for donations & gifts (mcu).
25. Approved the ISD 813 Fundraising for 2025-2026 (mcu).  
26. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:16 pm (mcu).
