REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on July 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 18 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. Jen Baures, Kara Majchrzak and Reagan O’Connor gave a report on the Summer Reading Program.
4. Principal Berge gave the High School & Year End reports.  
5. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View & Year End reports.
6. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
7. Supt. Wright gave her report & legislative session update.
8. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
9. August 18, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
10. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
11. Approved Policies: 606.5 and 1526 (mcu).
12. Approved the Bus Transportation Contract for July 1, 2025-June 30, 2027 (mcu).
13. First Reading of policies 702 and 721.
14. Discussion regarding single approval of policies.
15. Approved the transfer of bad debt to the general fund for accounts deemed uncollectible in the food service fund for fiscal year 2024-2025 (mcu).
16. Approved the LC and Family Service Rochester memorandum of understanding (mcu).
17. Approved the contracts for Payroll-Benefits Coordinator and Business Manager (mcu).
18.  Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
19. Information regarding honorary naming of Track & Field petition.
20. Approved the superintendent contract memorandum of understanding (mcu).  
21. Approved the closed session for superintendent annual evaluation (mcu).
22. Approved coming out of closed session (mcu).
23. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 9:28 p.m. (mcu).
