SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on May 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 28 community members were present.

Approved consent agenda (mcu).
No School - May 27, 2024.
Last day of school for students - May 31, 2024; last day for teachers - June 3, 2024.
Commencement - June 2, 2024.  
June 17, 2024 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 pm.
Recognition of state participants - Boys Basketball team, Speech individuals, FFA team, and Adapted Bowling teams and coaches.  
Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
Principal Aeschilmann gave the Bluff View report.
Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm. Ed. report.
Approved honorary naming of tennis courts as “The Henry Dison Tennis Courts” (mcu).
First reading of Policy 203, 506, and 507.
Approved participation in the National School Lunch Program for 2024-2025 (mcu).
Approved 2024-2025 Resolution for Membership in the Minnesota State High School League (mcu).
Approved the FY25 EHS Management Services Proposal - IEA (mcu).
Approved Lake City Principal Contract for 2024-2026 (mcu).
Deferred approval of the Proposed 2024-2025 Fee Schedule to next meeting (mcu).
Approved the listed donations (mcu).
Approved the spring coaching changes and resignations (mcu).
Approved the new hires (mcu).
Supt. Wright gave her report.
Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:04 pm (mcu).
