REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on September 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 31 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Trevor Narum recognized for receiving Region 1A Pete Boelter Activities Administrator of the Year.
3. Student Council members recognized each of the School Board members for School Board Appreciation Month.
4. Nicholle Mechelke and Al Thompson gave a presentation regarding Packing for the Weekend.
5. Emmee Lopez gave a presentation on the Annual Service Plan for Bluff Country School Bus.
6. Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
7. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
8. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
9. Supt. Wright gave her report & enrollment update.
10. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
11. Homecoming Week - Week of 9/22 - 9/26.
12. All Staff Workshop Days August 25-27, 2025.
13. October 20, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
14. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
15. Reviewed Superintendent Annual Review and Goals.
16. Approved the Annual Service Plan and Equipment List.
17. First Reading of policies: 901, 905, and 1799.
18. Approved the ISD 813 Annual School Board Policies: 413, 415, 522, 616, and 806 (mcu).
19. Approved the 2025 Payable 2026 Levy (mcu).
20. Approved the School District’s Truth in Taxation Meeting (mcu).
21. Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
22. Approved the Creation of Football Field and Complex Task Force (mcu).
23. Approved the Health Insurance recommendation (mcu).  
24. Approved the Fine Arts Assignments (mcu).
25. Approved the MSHSL Emerging Status for Girls Wrestling (mcu).
26. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:11 p.m. (mcu).
