REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on July 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.Lake-City.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 16 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda.  Motion carried unanimously. (mcu)
2. Approved consent agenda. (mcu).   
3. Aug. 21, 2023 next regular Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
4. Principal Berge gave the High School report.
Principal Aeschilmann gave the Bluff View report.
5. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report in written form.
6. First readings of policies.
7. Approved policy committee and members. (mcu)
8. Approved the 813 Restrictive Procedures Plan. (mcu)
9. Approved the transfer of bad debt from food service to general fund. (mcu)
10. Approved the bus transportation contract for 2023-2025. (mcu)
11. Approved LC and Family Service Rochester memorandum of understanding. (mcu)
12. Approved GCED long term facility maintenance ten year plan. (mcu)
13. Approved the correction to the board chair’s stipend. (mcu)
14. Approved resolution that allows Ariana Wright to be associated with our bank accounts at Lake City Federal. (passed 6-0, Balow abstained)
15. Approved the donations list. (mcu)
16. Approved the resignations, new hires and fall coaching assignments. (mcu)
17. Superintendent Wright shared her report.
18. Board reports were shared.
 A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:39 p.m. (mcu).
