SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on Sept.18, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 6 board members and 23 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda. Motion carried unanimously (mcu).
2. Approved consent agenda. (mcu).
3. Oct. 16, 2023 next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
4. Principal Berge gave the High School report.
Principal Aeschilmann gave the Bluff View report.
5. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
6. Approved policies: 406, 427, 509, 516.5, 524, and 532 (mcu).
7. Certify maximum for 2023 Payable 2024 Tax Levy (mcu).
8. Approve Truth in Taxation meeting for Dec. 18, 2023 (mcu).
9. Approve the 23-24 Bluff Country School Bus Annual Service Plan (mcu).
10. Approved the donations list (mcu).
11. Approved the resignations, new hires, lane changes, and fall coaching assignments (mcu).
12. Superintendent Wright shared her report.
13. Board reports were shared.
14. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:31 p.m. (mcu).
