NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Independent School District No. 813, located 300 South Garden Street, Lake City, MN 55041, will receive written quotations until 1:00 PM CDT, Friday, July 14, 2023 from qualified service providers interested in providing District Transportation Services for two (2) school years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
General Specifications may be obtained by contacting the District Office of Independent School District No. 813 located at the above address or at 651-345-2198.
Written quotations consistent with the District’s General Specifications must be received in an envelope clearly marked “STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES” on or before the above date and time, by:

On the above date and time authorized persons of Independent School District 813 will publicly open the quotations received and read aloud the names and key terms.
After opening and reviewing the written quotations received no later than the due date, the District may enter into direct negotiations with one or more qualified student transportation services provider(s) for a student transportation services contract(s) with terms, rates and provisions agreeable to the District. The District, at its sole discretion, may award a contract to more than one interested qualified service provider.
Independent School District No. 813 is using the written quotation and direct negotiation process established by Minnesota Statute 123B.52 and disclaims usage of any other contract procurement options allowed under applicable law. The School District reserves the right to reject any and all quotations and waive irregularities therein, and further reserves the right to award a contract to the service provider(s) in the best interest of Independent School District No. 813.
