Lake City Planning Commisssion - Hearing Notice - Cannabis Regulations

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Lake City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 205 West Center Street, Lake City, MN, to consider changes to the Lake City Zoning Ordinance related to cannabis regulations. The City is initiating ordinance changes to the Lake City Municipal Code: Chapter 155. These changes will integrate cannabis regulations and definitions into the Land Use Code for the purpose to implement the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 342, which authorizes the City of Lake City to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of City residents by regulating cannabis businesses within the legal boundaries of Lake City. The entire text of these changes will be available online and at City Hall.
Persons desiring to submit testimony on this matter may address the Commission during the public hearing. Additional information concerning this request is available at City Hall.
