NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Lake City Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, to consider a request submitted by Patrick and Jodi Gillard, 1200 Central Point Road, Lake City, MN, for property located in Goodhue County, Minnesota, legally described as follows:
PARCEL F OF LOT 18, IN THE BJ LOSS SUBDIVISION OF CENTRAL POINT, COMMENCING AT A POINT 1721 FEET EAST & 789 FEET SOUTH, OF THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF SECTION 32, SOUTH 65 DEGREES, EAST 142 FEET, SOUTH 25 DEGREES, WEST 100 FEET FOR BEGINNING, SOUTH 25 DEGREES WEST, 50 FEET NORTH, 65 DEGREES WEST, 30 FEET TO THE CENTER OF RIPPLE CREEK, NORTHWESTERLY TO POINT, 65 DEGREES OF BEGINNING, SOUTH 65 DEGREES EAST, TO BEGINNING, DOC # 31655, GOODHUE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.  
The applicant is requesting a variance from the 50-foot setback requirements from the ordinary high-water level of Lake Pepin. The request is to place the structure twenty-four (24) feet from the ordinary high water level.   
All persons desiring to address the Commission regarding this agenda item are welcome to attend the meeting and speak during the public hearing. All materials forwarded to the Planning Commission will be available for viewing by the public at City Hall, and on the City’s website on or by Thursday, September 29, 2022.
