Wabasha County Board of Adjustment - July 9 Hearing
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
WABASHA COUNTY
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Wabasha County Board of Adjustment will conduct public hearings starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 for the purpose of hearing evidence regarding the following requests:
1. Public hearing on the application submitted by Arthur Rabehl requesting a variance from Chapter 11.02 (1) & (2) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to allow for the construction of a new structure within the bluff impact zone (BIZ). The subject property is described as Wabasha County parcel R16.00231.03 located in Section 29, Township 110 North, Range 12 West of West Albany Township (30032 Highway 60, Millville).
2. Public hearing on the variance application submitted by Karen Taylor requesting a Variance from Chapter 11.02 (1) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of a new deck within a bluff impact zone (BIZ). The subject property is described as Wabasha County parcel R17.00382.00 located in Section 34, Township 109 North, Range 14 West of Zumbro Township (56377 400th Ave, Zumbro Falls.).
3. Continued public hearing for the application submitted by Derek Johnson requesting a variance from Article 14 Section 4 Subd. 1 of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to place a deck within the floodway, Chapter 13.07 (2) (b) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to place a structure within the required structural setback of Lake Zumbro, and MN Stats. 394.36 Subd. 4 to expand a non-conforming structure. The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R17.00347.00 located in Section 34, Township 109 North, Range 14 West, of Zumbro Township (40674 Ryans Bay Road).
The public hearings will take place in the County Board Room, Courthouse Annex, 625 Jefferson Avenue, Wabasha, Minnesota. Any interested person may provide testimony whether in person or by way of written comment submitted to the Wabasha Zoning Department. Written comments will be read into the record during the respective public hearing.
The applications are on file in the Wabasha County Zoning Department and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
