NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
WABASHA COUNTY
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Wabasha County Board of Adjustment will conduct public hearings starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 for the purpose of hearing evidence regarding the following requests:
1) Public hearing on the application submitted by Seth Tentis requesting a variance from Chapter 4.05 (2) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to create a land division that is less than 80 acres in the Agricultural Protection District that is eligible for a dwelling. The subject property is Wabasha County Parcel R05.00152.00 and is located in Section 19, Township 110 North, Range 10 West, in Greenfield Township (19100 & 19120 641st Street, Kellogg, MN).
2) Public hearing on the application submitted by Joseph Hines requesting a variance from Chapter 13.10 (4) (d) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to exceed the twenty-five percent (25%) of impervious surface coverage for a shoreland lot. The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R05.00711.00 located in Section 12, Township 110 North, Range 10 West in Greenfield Township (66829 146th Ave., Wabasha).
3) Public hearing on the application submitted by Tim Duellman requesting a variance from Chapter 13.10 (4) (d) to exceed the twenty-five (25%) coverage of impervious surfaces for a lot in the shoreland zone and Chapter 13.07 (3) (b) of the Wabasha County Zoning Ordinance to exceed the 75 foot setback from the Ordinary Highwater Level for a general develop lake. The subject property is Wabasha County parcel R05.00725.00 and is located in Section 2, Township 110 North, and Range 10 West in Greenfield Township (68090 County Road 76, Wabasha).
The public hearings will take place in the County Board Room, Courthouse Annex, 625 Jefferson Avenue, Wabasha, Minnesota. Any interested person may provide testimony whether in person or by way of written comment submitted to the Wabasha Zoning Department. Written comments will be read into the record during the respective public hearing.
The applications are on file in the Wabasha County Zoning Department and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
