Tiger boys Beat bears to claim share of conference title
Hunter Lorenson scored 22 points and Justin Wohlers added 21 as Lake City claimed a share of the Hiawatha Valley League Championship with a 75-63 victory over Byron at Lincoln High School Friday night. The Tigers finished the conference slate with a 14-2 record, sharing the title with Stewartville who lost at Kasson-Mantorville 62-45.
Lake City trailed for just 1:30 as an impressive drive to the basket and three-point play by Keegan Ryan gave the Tigers an 8-3 lead after three minutes of play.
