Tiger boys roll to a season-opener win over non-conference Red Wing
The highly anticipated 2019-20 boys’ basketball season kicked off last Tuesday night as Lake City rolled to a 72-49 victory over Red Wing in non-conference action. Nathan Heise paced the Tigers with 28 points, including six dunks, four of which came in the opening six minutes of play.
Expectations are high for a team that returns four starters from last year’s squad that set a school record for wins with 28 en route to a third place finish in the class AA state tournament.
