Tiger tennis wins season opener 5-2

Lake City Girls Tennis is off to a strong start this year with a 5-2 win against Baldwin-Woodville on Aug. 20.
In singles, Lake City’s No. 1 Thérèse Bauer took down Katie Kroening 6-0, 6-0, and No. 2 Gemma Bauer won against Kallie Schutz 6-0, 6-1. Rylee Thieren similarly defeated Tessa Crowly with 6-0, 6-0 sets for No. 3, and Julia Huettl cleaned up the No. 4 singles spot with a 6-1, 6-1 win versus Ellen Anderson.
