Tigers throttle K-W in road game

Four Lake City players reached double figures as the Tigers throttled Kenyon-Wanamingo 71-35 on the road last Tuesday night. Lake City never trailed in the game and led 48-12 at halftime.
Reid Gastner had the hot hand early for Lake City as he had 10 points in the first eight minutes as the Tigers opened a 23-5 lead halfway through the opening period. Lake City made 11 of 12 two-point field goals to open the game as the lead ballooned to 34-7 with 6:09 to play until halftime following a basket in transition by Zach Bremer.
