To the editor:
I have lived in our beautiful City 53 years, witnessed many local elections, but this year I question the process.
I know for a fact, that all persons running for any elected office receive a packet from the Secretary of State. It provides each candidate with important guidelines...

To the editor:
Last year, at this time I helped decorate the city for the fall season. I was helping to put up the corn stalks.
I was crossing Hwy. 61 carrying corn stalks in front of me. Two cars had stopped for me, one going north and one going south. I got to the middle of the street and out of...

To the editor:
Walking outside is the easiest no-cost method of active living and Lake City has one of the most beautiful lake shores to view doing this.

To the editor:
I can see drive-arounds on county roads.

To the editor:
I attended last week’s council meeting and found the discussion about where to locate the proposed bandshell very interesting.
The Bandshell Taskforce submitted their findings and voted, 7 to 4, to locate the bandshell in Patton Park, and made that recommendation to the council....

To the editor:
I have been following the Facebook posts and conversations regarding the proposed reconstruction of the four-lanes through Lake City.
This is not a new idea that was just sprung on the people of Lake City. It has been part of the comprehensive plan for many years. MnDOT (The...
