I really feel blessed to live in a small town.
People know their neighbors and are so willing to help each other. I have several neighbors who are willing to come to help if they see me out shoveling my driveway. I don’t even ask for the help but they volunteer.

Club prepares for 50th fishing tournament

The Lake City Sportsman’s Club was a busy place Feb. 10 as members prepared the clubhouse for its annual ice fishing tournament on Feb. 17.
About 20 people were on hand Saturday, and organizer Mandy Edelbach said about 80 volunteers were working on the contest.
