4-H club has adopted highway for 30 years

The Florence Wizards 4-H Club did their highway clean-up recently.

This year the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s (MnDOT) Adopt a Highway program celebrates its 30th anniversary, and the club is one of 470 groups that have participated in the program for all 30 years.

According to MnDOT, more than 3,800 groups spent 272,000 hours picking up over 40,000 bags of trash on Minnesota highways in 2019.
