4-H Project Bowl teams advance to state
Three Wabasha County 4-H teams participated in the Regional Dairy Project Bowl competition in Hastings on March 8. All 3 teams advance to the state competition in April.
Senior team of Ashley and Emily Mellgren, Gavin Wilhelmson, Blake Siewert and Nolan Kruger placed first out of nine teams. Both the intermediate and Junior teams placed second out of eight and five teams respectively. A total of eight teams from the four regional competitions move on to the state competition.
