Alpaca farmer to speak at Spark

Dana Tiedeman established Riverside Suri Alpacas in Lake City in 2006. She will share with the Spark group how she discovered alpacas and became interested in raising them.
Dana harvests, spins, dyes, and sells alpaca fiber. The alpaca has an elite fiber that is desired by knitters, crafters, weavers, felters, and for clothing. Guests will learn about the process the fiber goes through from pasture to product.
