B. Wayne Quist to share his story of Private Joe Haan

The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a slide show and discussion with Minnesota author B. Wayne Quist on Thursday, april 26, at 6:30 p.m. Quist will discuss the true story of the life and poetry of Private Joe Haan, who was orphaned young and indentured to a brutal southern Minnesota farmer. Haan later experienced heroic wartime survival in Patton’s Third Army in World War II.
