Bank donates plat books to historical society
Three Wabasha County plat books that have been in storage at Lake City Federal Bank for decades are now in the hands of the Lake City Historical Society.
“I have been interested in plat books since learning how to read them in ag classes at Lincoln High School. Finding plat books at our bank in storage that go back over 125 years is like finding lost treasure. Our board of directors agreed with me that we should donate these books to the Lake City Historical Society,” said Jim Mack, president and CEO of Lake City Federal Bank.
