Bethany hog roast and block party to be Aug. 26
Bethany Lutheran Church of Lake City will be hosting its ninth annual Hog Roast and Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 26 in the church parking lot at 525 S. 6th Street in Lake City, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The entire community is invited to enjoy roasted pork sandwiches, fresh sweet corn, cole slaw, beans, ice cream, homemade bars and beverages.
Music will be provided by the Jim Sexton and Craig Morton. Attendees may sign up for drawings and door prizes to be held throughout the evening.
Handicap parking will be available and the event will be held rain or shine.
